One question

Hi, PinkYoshiFan! I have a question. I’m trying to transfer my Sandbox page from Inkipedia to this wiki, and I found that in order to upload images, you need to be an autoconfirmed user. Getting autoconfirmed is a thing that happens automatically once you hit a certain number of edits and your account is a certain amount of time old. I'm not sure what those exact thresholds are, but I do know that they're fairly low (there's a good chance you've hit the editcount requirement already and just need to wait for your account to be old enough). Help!

Hi, PinkYoshiFan.

So, I tried to upload one of my images, and it wouldn’t upload. I tried converting the image to a compatible file type, tried to upload it again, and even refreshed the page. Nothing has worked. Any advice? WolfTamer (talk) 01:31, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

Regarding my signature

It's not a problem that you're messaging me, I'm happy to answer questions you have. As for the signature, I think you need to check on the box in Special:Preferences that says Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link to your user page). PinkYoshiFan 16:58, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

The user list is shared between here and Pikmin Fanon, which is why the name was registered as used. If that's you on PF, you should be able to log out of this account and log into that one here. Also the fast response is since I was on discord, the server for this has a channel that posts the recent changes (including user creation) in real-time. PinkYoshiFan 16:00, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Question

There's not a way to delete user accounts on MediaWiki. Your best option would probably be using Special:PasswordReset to change the password on the old account to random characters if you have an email tied to the unused account that's not the same one tied to your used account (just be sure that you're doing this to the old account). If you don't have an email tied to it, then I think just never logging into it again would be the best option. PinkYoshiFan 11:35, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
