Pokémon Topaz Dream Expansion and Amethyst Dream Expansion

The Pokémon Topaz Dream Expansion (Japanese: ポケットモンスタートパーズドリームエキスパンション Pocket Monsters Topaz Dream Expansion) and the Pokémon Amethyst Dream Expansion (Japanese: ポケットモンスターアメジストドリームエキスパンション Pocket Monsters Amethyst Dream Expansion) are paid downloadable content for the tenth generation core series games Pokémon Topaz and Amethyst. They were announced worldwide on the 30th Anniversary of the release of Pokémon Red and Green on February 27, 2026 through the first Pokémon Presents Xbox Games Showcase, and was made available for purchase later that day. The physical bundle pack was announced on September 26, 2026 and was made available for purchase starting on November 6, 2026.

Mechanics

Following the pattern established with the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass, the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass, and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, the Pokémon Topaz Dream Expansion and the Pokémon Amethyst Dream Expansion allows players to continue using their existing save data from Pokémon Topaz and Amethyst to access the added content.

Players can access the content of The Jade Token and visit the Lavega Badlands after starting the Victory Road part of the main storyline.

As a purchase bonus, the DLC provides a set of exclusive clothing, including four new uniforms. Players who purchase the DLC before October 27, 2026, also receive a serial code for a Houndunaki.
