Nickelodeon (Robloxia)

Nickelodeon is the Robloxian counterpart of the Nickelodeon television network in the United States. It is operated by a joint venture of Robloxia Networks and MTV Networks Robloxia.

History

Nickelodeon first aired in Robloxia television on October 21st 1996. At launch it aired programming such as Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, alongside others.

In 1998, a Nick Jr block for younger kids was introduced, featuring a breadth of preschool shows from 7am to 2pm. It aired programming such as Little Bear and Dora the Explorer starting from September 2000. After a dedicated Nick Jr channel launched in October 2004, the block was pulled from the network.

Beginning August 2008, Nickelodeon Robloxia aired new episodes of shows the same day it premiered in the USA.

On October 2nd 2009 at 6:59am, Nickelodeon rebranded itself to blend in with the American rebrand, which itself occured a few days earlier.

Programming

Today, Nickelodeon airs a variety of programming, ranging from Nicktoons to live-action shows. Preschool shows aired there for six years before a Nick Jr channel launched.
