RWBY is an upcoming American science fiction action film based on the Rooster Teeth animated series of the same name, produced by DC Films for Warner Bros. Pictures. It is intended to be an installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film is being directed by Adam Wingard from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, and stars Zendaya, Maika Monroe, Camila Cabello, and Jennifer Lawrence as Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, respectively, alongside Colin Ford, Kristen Stewart, and Alex Pettyfer.
