Gravity Rush: The Story So Far

Gravity Rush: The Story So Far is a compilation game comprised of Gravity Rush Remastered and Gravity Rush 2. The game was announced at The Game Awards 2023 on December 14, 2023 is the first Gravity Rush game available on multiple platforms at launch, being released on April 26, 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

Gravity Rush: The Story So Far was released for the Nintendo Switch 1 and PC via Steam on October 4, 2024, the former platform's version released as a launch title.

A PlayStation account is required to access this game for the Xbox and Nintendo Switch brands' consoles and the PC.

Changes

In Gravity Rush Remastered, when Kat moves or jumps after the player uses the right stick, the camera will no longer reset.
In Gravity Rush 2, the servers, which previously concluded for the PlayStation 4 on January 18, 2018 and was never functional for the PlayStation 5 through the backwards compatibility program, are now accessible for the PlayStation 5 (through console), Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 1, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
In Gravity Rush Remastered, once logged in to a PlayStation account, the player can get a Dark Angel costume if every trophy in that game for the PlayStation 4 on their PlayStation account has been earned.
In Gravity Rush 2, the collection and picture roll can be accessed by holding X and pressing View (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)/holding Y and pressing - (Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 1)/holding Shift and Left (PC) and holding A and pressing View (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)/holding B and pressing - (Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 1)/holding Shift and pressing Left (PC), respectively.
- When in Handheld Mode on the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 1, the collection and picture roll can also be accessed by tapping the touch screen to the left and the right, respectively.
In Gravity Rush Remastered, the player can restart a current challenge mission via the pause menu.
In Gravity Rush 2, the Other must now have her health gauge be depleted by attacking her to defeat her in her second battle.
In Gravity Rush Remastered, the player can revisit a cutscene's square by pressing ◯ (PlayStation 5)/B (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 1)/Backspace (PC).
In Gravity Rush 2, the player can change Gravity Styles by pressing View (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)/- (Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 1)/Shift (PC).
In Gravity Rush Remastered, after the credits, the player will no longer be tasked to create a new save file.
The Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions are compatible with the Xbox Controller's Elite Attachment, which functions similarly to the DualShock 4's Back Button Attachment, but with a built-in speaker and motion detection support via a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer and vibration.
In Gravity Rush Remastered, running out of health will result in a completion of a Challenge Mission, rather than a Game Over.

Trivia

This is PlayStation Studios first multiplatform game for the Xbox and Nintendo platforms that is not of the MLB: The Show series.
- qWare, previously known as Project Siren from 1997 through 2008 and Team Gravity from 2008 through 2020, switched the Gravity Rush franchise to a focus on multiplatform titles for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 1, and PC via Steam like Gravity Rush: The Story So Far and Gravity Rush 3 in 2024 and Gravity Rush 3: Gravity Rush 3: King of the Hearts in 2025.
This is the only Gravity Rush game to be released for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
- It is, however, the first Gravity Rush game to be released for the PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 1.
