The Flowzies (simply known as Flowzies in Japan), is an American animated comedy series created by TBA for DIC Entertainment. The series initially made its debut in September 1993 on ABC as a part of the network's Saturday morning lineup until August 31, 1996, when the series would enter a five-year hiatus until March 2001, when the series was picked up by cable network Cartoon Network and air it's final two seasons and a TV movie.
Premise
The Flowzies revolves around a group of six flower-like creatures known as the Flowzies (who are all named after the primary and secondary colors) who all reside in a tree hut where they go on bizarre adventures.

Episodes
The Flowzies has a grand total of 130 episodes with each season containing 26 episodes. The first three seasons all had episodes exclusively on Saturdays with a new episode airing every two weeks. During the Cartoon Network era, episodes aired more on other days of the week, but the series finale aired on a Saturday.

Home Media
The series saw its first VHS releases by MCA/Universal Home Video (through MCA Family Entertainment) from 1994 until 1997. Each VHS release has three episodes released onto it. Walt Disney Home Video would later release the series from 1998 until 2001 following the company's merger with ABC. Starting in 2001, Viz Media (then known as Viz Video) released the series on to DVD and the final two seasons on to VHS (with co-distribution by Lionsgate Entertainment). The series would be released on to the Nintendo Switch as a digital series on October 1, 2022 being the first series to be released onto the Switch's eShop.
In the UK, CIC Video (via Universal Studios) handled distribution from 1994 until the company's disband in 1999. Since then, the series had its releases done by Paramount Home Media Distribution until 2008, when the series would see it's releases by Viz Media.
