Super Mario Dimensions is a title in the Super Mario franchise released for the Nintendo Switch Tri. Acting as a celebration of the franchise's 40th anniversary this title sees the plumber go back to his roots and well as evolve by bringing back classic 2D platforming action and open-world 3D exploration by having the plumber go through various dimensions representing major titles in his franchise. The game was critically acclaimed with praise for the graphics, soundtrack, and gameplay, though some cynical reviewers criticized the titles for ripping off Sonic Generations.
