The games were announced on February 27th, 2029 during a Pokémon Presents Xbox Games Showcase. The paired versions were released worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 19th, 2027. All copies of the game are playable in nine languages: Japanese, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
