Kun'ko are a species of sapient invertebrates from the Silphaverse. They were once the dominant species of the world to the point that the three ages of recorded history are named after their reign. (B.K. meaning Before Kun'ko, K.E. meaning Kun'ko Empire, and P.K. meaning Post-Kun'ko.) However after the fall of the Kun'ko Empire the species became critically endangered and now only less than 2000 individuals survive. All of which are persecuted by those who still feel scars from their ancestor's reign centuries ago.
